Does Text Team use my phone plan minutes?
No, Textr does not use your phone plan minutes. It is a cloud-based VoIP app that runs on your internet connection, wifi or data. Thus, it saves you money from signing lengthy and expensive contracts with traditional phone service providers.
Will my team be able to call and text on the same phone number?
Yes, you can assign multiple members to make calls and texts on the same phone number.
Can I text countries outside of the USA or Canada?
International calling and texting will be coming soon. Stay tuned by joining our mailing list for when it launches!
Does Text Team support Android, iOS, or PC platforms?
Text Team is available on the Web, IOS and on Android. Coming soon, we will support hardware IP phone and Windows/Mac versions. Recently, we have launched Text Team Apple iOS Version 1.0, available to download on the Apple app store here.
What phone numbers do customers see when I call?
You can choose which phone number to answer your calls with and that will be the number visible to customers. It can be your existing business phone number you’ve ported to Text Team, or a phone number that you’ve subscribe to through Text Team. Either way, your personal phone number stays private and will not be seen by your customers.
How does Text Team work?
Text Team is a one stop solution for small to medium sized businesses’ telecom needs. So business owners don’t have to pay expensive fees, commit to 3 years contract with big 3s, and wait for a long time to install the phone line without texting capability. Plus, there is no need to invest in any hardware costs to start; that means saying bye bye to any PBX system.
With Text Team, you can subscribe to any of the 48 US states and 12 provinces in Canada. All local phone numbers are at your disposal to ensure you can always assist your customer wherever they are. toll-free phone numbers, vanity phone numbers and short-code phone numbers are also available to choose from.
As Text Team understands how important business’s sales and customer services lines are, we designed our system to allow you to assign the most capable users to answer phone calls and reply to text messages. Additional helpful features include storing the chatting history for different working shifts and recording a phone call for future reference.
Sometimes dealing with customers is very difficult; some of them are a pleasure to serve and some can be a little picky. Hence, classifying customers is important to serve them better. With Text Team tag’s management system, you can assign customers different color tags and blacklist spam in just a few clicks.
What currency do you use?
We support all currencies convertible by our currency converter (European Central Bank). If there is an unsupported currency you would like to use, please us at [email protected] and we will gladly assist you.
What is your refund policy?
Refund Policy: Text Team operates on a subscription based policy. Users are charged on a monthly basis and are free to cancel their subscription or account at any point. Due to the high costs of reserving and maintaining numbers, refunds will not be given once the monthly charge has been incurred.
If you would like to cancel your subscription you can do so by following the steps here. We will hold on to the number for you for at least 14 days. Additionally, if you would like to port your number to another service, email us at [email protected], we will hold your number and assist you in the process.
Dispute: If you believe that there is an exception to your case, email us at [email protected], and we would be happy to assist you. Additionally, you may view our Terms of Service for more information.
Violation of Terms of Service: If your account is found to have violated our Terms of Service, a refund will not be issued and your account will be cancelled.
Can I use my existing business phone number?
Yes, you can continue using your existing business phone number on Text Team. Just contact support and they will port your phone number to Text Team for you.
